APPLIED KINESIOLOGY - FOR YOUR BIOCHEMICAL HEALTH

Applied Kinesiology:
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a system using basic muscle testing for evaluating areas of dysfunction within the body.
The method of AK is primarily concerned with the neuromuscular function and how it relates to the regulation of structure, chemical and mental physiology. It uses the principle that the body is a self-maintaining, self-correcting mechanism.
The Triad of Health:
Health is composed of structure, bio-chemical and mental factors, which must be equally, balanced producing the triad of health.
When a person has ill health, at least one of these factors is involved and often two or three. The principle of AK is to analyse and check all three factors and treat any or all that are disrupted.

What can be treated?
1 Low back pain, sciatica
2 Headaches, migraine
3 Disc injuries
4 Acute onset and sports injuries
5 Stress related disorders
Other problems an AK practitioner can treat:
1 Allergies, recurrent ear , nose and throat infections
2 Hormone related disorders
3 Symptoms of PMT and menopause
4 Irritable bowl syndrome
5 Post-viral syndrome
6 Nutritional work

When visiting an AK Practitioner, expect to be involved, He will test for basic mechanical defects; the possible connection of visceral dysfunction (the function of the associated gland or organ); stress levels in the body; and where relevant, cranial and pelvic distortions also toxicity / allergy problems.
Treatment can involve manipulative work, guidance in self-treatment, nutritional support and remedies coupled with treatment to aid stress related problems.
